About Brookhaven RP:
As much as I want to love this game, the clunky controls constantly ruin the experience. I can’t speak much about the story because I can’t play for any serious measure of time. I love the characters and what little of the story’s premise I’ve uncovered, i also love the art style even though it’s extremely reminiscent of Stardew Valley. All this game was get me to pick up SDV again after all these years. Every couple of updates I try it out again hoping the bugs have been addressed but with the developer recently declaring this the full version and announcing work on a new product i highly doubt this game will ever be truly playable. I don’t review games often, but Brookhaven is a lovely game, and a hidden gem if I ever saw one! The sorting can be a bit odd, but I honestly didn’t find the controls to be all that frustrating. The game has a wonderfully dark fantasy vibe that I have been looking for and the characters feel real and full of life. I actually wanted to get to know more about them! If you are on the fence, I say go for it. I can feel the love the dev has put into this game, and I believe this title deserves far more attention and recognition!
