About DBZ Final Stand:
The best way to describe this game is that it’s what Diablo looks like when there are no heroes around. Build a town, try to defend it against encroaching horrors, explore to find new resources to exploit, watch it all get washed away under a tidal wave of blood and nightmares. Citizens are self-managing and buildings queue up Command and Conquer style so the only units you need to manage are your soldiers, which is plenty hard enough. It’s kind of impossible to not compare this game to They Are Billions! which is another survival RTS with a locked isometric perspective in which players slowly fill the map with chunks of town consisting of radial resource gathering stations baffled by defenses while fending off increasingly brutal assaults by mindless but numerous walking dead. To that I would say that this game is much prettier, far more polished, and a bit more mechanically complex. Also, this game has cool looking electric doom fog that slowly swallows the world as your lights go out, so you know, that’s neat. Particularly good RTS survival sim like game. Lots of replayablity, every try being very different from the last, the growing roster of heroes and antiheroes along with associated factions brings to the table massive potential and I cannot wait to see where this game will go from here. This is a game where success is not guaranteed and comes from your own hard fought for gains. Every Death Night that comes to pass tests you through sheer might of force, and what is lost can always be rebuilt.
