About Fitness Simulator:
NOTICE Do NOT get the Wahoo Tickr or the Mi Band 3 for heart rate monitoring for this game. The Mi Band flat out doesn’t work and the Wahoo Tickr is inaccurate and very faulty (device got bricked just following the setup instructions and installing a firmware update through it’s app). Honestly if you do not already have a heart rate device, I wouldn’t recommend going through the apparent hassle of getting a heart rate monitor that actually works by itself AND connects to PowerBeatsVR. This game accomplishes being Beat Saber but forces you to do squats and putting some force into your punches to hit objects. The game is good with too many buts that make it not that great: – The game has 4 environments, but they get stale quickly especially as they are just cosmetically different; Steam Workshop support for new player environments would give this more life – There are 4 weapons, but each is unlocked, again not really varied; Steam Workshop/mods would give this more life – The harder blocks are a nice touch, but don’t fundamentally change how you play – Allowing you to add your own songs is great, This has easily been my favorite fitness game so far. Even if the graphics and the game are a bit more straightforward than other games out there, the workout is better overall as this game is more focused on fitness than on levels. Plus, being able to play your own music (setting it up is very easy too) is a huge plus. You can do alot of customizing. I play in a relatively medium/small room, and have to turn off some of the items in the Options menu (no tunnels, or bad balls) and my room width is set to the most narrow setting 6feet 6inches. Works great for me. It will even work with a heart-rate
