About Notoriety:
I love this game and it is worth buying. BUT I can’t justify the fact they will charge 80 dollars on top of the 40 you spent to access updates early. Using the “It’s meant for those people to test the updates before they roll out” argument makes no sense considering the game is still in Early Access. That’s why everyone bought the game, to play it with an understanding that things including updates, may not work. Monument Valley Panoramic Edition I’m all for supporting the developers and there being a separate payment, no issue with some weapons and whatnot being locked behind it. But to lock core functionality and improvements to the game temporarily behind a paywall doesn’t bode well for me as the game further increases it’s quality and reaches closer to full release. Thank you for reaching the end if you read all this. The game is good and it’s promising. The development is slow but solid. And this process might be the biggest con of the game. Still, kudos to the devs for creating something like this. I wish some AAA companies try it too. Just imagine a game like this with more devs and very high budget. Would recommend playing with three or more friends. Even though it has mod support, I don’t think it adds much to the game in its current state, but still, it’s a good thing to have.
