About Pistol 1v1:
TLDR – If you enjoy Classic Light Gun Arcade games Pistol Whip is what you want. I was waiting for someone to make a VR game that was similar to Classic Light Gun arcade games like Virtua Cop, THoTD and this game nailed it! Pistol Whip is definitely amongst my top 5 VR games for sure. Feel it could have dropped the rhythm mechanic but the game doesn’t demand it which is nice. The story was short but I crave more, I WANT MORE! Throwing you into a cheesy movie First, this IS a rhythm game, Second the price..dearer than I anticipated. But I jumped in and got it the minute it was released. Started off playing left handed, rather than right. Bit of a faff to get it right but anyhow off I went. Not my style of music, but hey, I’m down with that. I have no sense of rhythm so not getting anywhere near a good score. Im just happy to blast through the level. I was initially put off by the auto aim, but realised very quickly the aim is like that to pull you through the game and make you feel like a badass as you go. Yup this feature works, I tried the dead eye modifier, nope, dead in seconds…but glad its an option. The graphics are unusual but will get you dodging bullets and pillars and overhangs, yes you will sweat. Had a quick go at normal….just to see…wow it steps the game up nicely, definitley a challenge. Its one of those games you’ll need to play a bit of before any real opinions can be made but i’m up for the challenge. Would recommend giving this a go.
