About Public Bathroom Simulator:
Public Bathroom is a game that introduces emotional topics, like feelings of being an outsider, but cleverly veils that behind bathroom humor. This is a game that you might skip over if you were just looking through Steam just because of the topic, but I promise you it’s worth your time. Not only is the story heartwarming, but the game mechanics are actually great as well. Psycho Bathroom is a boss rush game. This means that every level is a boss fight of its own, and you must kill that boss to progress to a new level. A cool thing that the game does here is that even if you lose the fight, the story still progresses. A hard boss does not mean it is a roadblock in your progress, just a small speed bump. Keep fighting, earn your money, buy upgrades, and eventually you will make it past the boss. I personally loved the way that this game was set up. Every decision makes complete sense and I didn’t find myself with any moments of asking why something was designed a certain way. You go into a boss fight and depending on how many hearts you have left, you make a certain amount of money. Before your next fight you are given the chance to upgrade your character and to spend the money that you made. The upgrades range from speed and attack power upgrades all the way to companions that you can have fight with you. These companions are just broken toilet lids, each with their own ability that will be activated upon you attacking them during a fight.
